Where to buy Christmas trees from in Romania’s capital


Thinking it is about time to buy the Christmas Tree? In the past week, a variety of offers sprawled across Romania’s capital Bucharest. See below where you can buy cut natural Christmas trees, trees in pot, decorated trees or artificial ones.

Do-it-yourself stores

Dedeman – prices vary from RON 39 up to 900

Brico Depôt – natural trees (Abies Nordmanniana), RON 75

Mr. Bricolage – natural trees (Abies Nordmanniana), prices starting from RON 79.99

Praktiker announces as well they will soon start selling trees.

Traditional markets

Local company Silva Group Romania officially opened Christmas tree markets in Obor Market, Floreasca Boulevard, Kaufland Mihai Bravu, Basarabia Boulevard, Alba Iulia Square, Baneasa Shopping City, AFI Palace Cotroceni, as well as in Voluntari locality near Bucharest. These markets are open from until December 24.

Christmas trees are usually also on sale in many larger intersections in Bucharest, on street corners, in special areas.

Order online

Online selling of Christmas trees is becoming more and more popular as delivery is usually included in the service. www.brazicraciun.com, for example, has free delivery and  discounts until December 20. Silva Group Romania sells online as well. You can buy Christmas trees from this company on  www.magazinuldebrazi.ro. Delivery is free of charge.

Rent a decorated tree

You can even choose to rent an already decorated tree. www.bradcraciun.ro is offering this service in Bucharest. Prices start at RON 890.
